I bought this album after a friend recommended I looked at this band's website. The songs comprise a really solid first album and one of the best I've bought this year. It sound refreshingly new with some inspired song-writing and yet vaguley familiar, reminding me of Don Henley, The Connells and possibly The Eagles. High points for me are Welcome to the World and Waltz for Beginners. A great album, thoroughly recommended.

"Late arrival", the song itself, has a very catchy tune-gets you humming along to it very quickly when you have it playing in the background. The music has a good beat and it reminds me a little of music I heard as a student-so quite nostalgic for me.
Great that this is a new talented group of musicians from the North of England and their various styles complement each other perfectly. The percussion features strongly and there is good harmony in the singing.
I recommend this CD-you will not be disappointed!
Hope we will hear a lot more from Katy Lied in the future-maybe we can even get to see them live somewhere.
