Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great but not their best   May 20, 2007
Z is a great album! MMJ seem only to ever get better even after having changed band members. Their core sound has not differed and the music is awesome.
I instantly loved this album, the first track is Excellent to say the least and then following onto 'It beats for you' (ahhh such a lovely song).
I have to confess that this is not my favourite MMJ Album. 'At Dawn' is the one that does it for me and 'It Still Moves' stands out as one of the best MMJ albums around.
A great Album but not the best one by MMJ however, if i were to recommend a first buy then this would be it. It is mellow at times, certainly sweet at times but mostly - IT ROCKS!!

4 out of 5 stars Not quite a classic...   April 6, 2006

MMJ's latest outing [with the new line up] whilst not disappointing contains [for me anyway] a couple of real clunkers, which marr an otherwise cracking effort:
What a Wonderful Man [corny]
Into the Woods [lyrically weak]
These 2 aside though, it certainly represents this criminally under-appreciated band at the top of their game. Recommended.
