This is one hell of a concert.All the groups featured are excellent and the production is fantastic.we watched this dvd and at first thought it would be your run of the mill thing, but as soon as you stick it on ...well what a treat...a must for you 30 - 40 year olds.will give the next generation something to think about music wise,,,,Buy this....Fantastic

As previous reviewers have said; this concert is 100% excellent from start to finish. I bought it as a Pet Shop Boys fan but all the performances were wonderful. A great evening's entertainment and a good price. This is a must have.
Just got my Japanese version! May 28, 2008
I had been chasing this disc for a couple of years and only recently found it on Amazon Japan. It will certainly be cheaper for the UK edition, but what a great DVD. My family attended this concert and knew it was being filmed, but didn't know how to get hold of it. Having watched this Japanese version, it confirmed what a great night it was. Buggles, Art of Noise, ABC, Seal were all highlights. Special mentions to Yes, a one-off line up without Jon Anderson, but great to have on record and FGTH, although without Holly Johnson, but it didn't really matter. Thoroughly recommended.

This is an absolute must buy.
I searched high and low for the 1st Japan release and it is a stunning disc of a stunning concert.
Now, at long last the UK is finally getting a release of this unbelievable concert.
Right from the Buggles tracks (great to hear Radio and Plastic live), Grace Jones (what a performance), ABC, Yes, Pet Shop Boys (jaw dropping with a full string backup), Seal, and of course Frankie with new singer Ryan Malloy (has there ever been a better debut performance by a new front man ?) and many others, there is not a single poor performance, everything is just right.
This is what Live 8 should have been. Well done to everyone involved here.
Hopefully there will be a Blu Ray disc aswell ;)
