I heard when Tongy first moved to Eden he came on and played electro house and electro (i was there but left before he came on as met a lovely girl and had to get up early to vacate our villa). Groove Armada were also on I saw them and they played some awful electro house, so stuck to Jo MIlls and B upstairs. However, as weeks went on, i was told Tong got away from the cheese and actually played decent sets.
This cd is really decent, mixing through minimal electro and techno thru to deep house and jackin house, and blends better then ive heard anyone ever do. I havent even listened to cd2 yet as just recieved the album today, but am sure its just as good. ;-)

I love the Pete Tong Wonderland album. It gives me a good feeling everytime I listen to it. Fav cd is cd1 like love Interlater Skylark, Josh Wink Stay Out All Night. Xpress 2 Music Xpress. CD 2 is good aswell.
Its not about quantity its about quality and this CD contains quality house tracks and is mixed well by one of the best DJ's Pete Tong.
This is a must for any dance fan well recommended.

I know what you're thinking! Why on earth has Tongy left Pure Pacha to slum it at Eden in San Antonio?? He says, with some hope, "I'm trying to re-inject some interest and attraction to the original party place on the island!" OK - yes, to a degree I can see why he's done it (apart from the huge paypacket) he is one of the best known DJs in the world. However, of late he has also become one of the cheesiest and laziest DJs in the world! (Mixing on your Apple Mac Pete does not a DJ make!) Therefore you have to wear a Burberry outfit to fully appreciate what this man - and not Ibiza - Is all about! When you have to resort to playing a remix of Michael Jackson's "I just can't stop loving you" on a Friday Night on Radio 1 then clearly the money has taken the passion right out of what every dance lover wishes he could do - and that is rule a DJ booth on the best island in the world!!!
