Noisia made their name in drum & bass but have also done some stunning electro & breaks tunes like "Gutterpump", so when I first heard this CD that is mostly tracks by Noisia themselves, I was a little bit surprised that it's not too diverse- this is strictly d&b all the way.
That said though, it is full-fat d&b with some of the thickest and noisiest basslines known to man and this is an outstanding mix. Tracks like Noisia's remix of Moby give it some serious depth.
One of the best d&b mix CDs you can get.

I have always been a huge fan of Drum 'n' Bass, especially the tech-step, mutant sound created by the likes of Trace, Ed Rush & Optical, Dom & Roland, Cause4Concern etc. So it was with great excitement that I started to listen to the music produced by Noisia.
Just the name on this album cover warranted a pre-order, and I couldn't wait to stick this CD in the player when I received it on the day of release (great service again from Amazon).
This album contains some of the most hard-hitting, big-bass warbling, tech-steppin' monsters I've heard in a long, long time. The tunes produced by Noisia are some of the most innovative, technically proficient tunes to grace my speakers. My favourites are "The Tide", "Concussion", "Facade (VIP)" ,, "Diplodocus", "Claret's March", to name but a few. I have to mention the artist Spor, who again is one of the best producers that has surfaced in the scene.
Also, Noisia have included some down-temp tracks, which I didn't think I'd get in to, but I did. They really complement the album.
So, anyone who loves the sounds of Ed Rush & Optical etc., and of course Noisia, should by this album on site. You won't be disappointed!
