It is certainly what I would describe as `warm electronica' and sits nicely alongside the likes of Prefuse 73 and, especially, the beatific Four Tet.

Loved his Bagatelle EP for it's slow 5AM in the middle of autumn vibes.

Loved Motoring Britain which was very similar to Bagatelle (as you would expect from the same artist), but this time much more up-tempo and happy!

Love this new album! Have left writing a review for a couple of months as I always do, so that I can give the release time to soak in and mature with age. This release has some beautifully detailed tracks, with styles aplenty, but for some reason I find it a very difficult album to listen to all the way through.

Nether the less this is a marvellous piece of work that anyone who has ventured into MelodicRecords before will enjoy.

Hard to compare him to many well-known electronica artists simply because his styles vary so much from one track to the next, but trust me it's worth listening to.

ok everybody. carefully watch mr edwards take over the world. no longer is david a folktronica genius, because this lp is far too polished for that.. this album is folktronica, but with an edge you cannot resist. totally original, wicked, lovely, beautiful and a fantastic new spin on modern electronic music in a non-chin stroking way. check the recordings of dogs too.
