Words cannot express... April 27, 2008 In 2008, this album still defines Libera at their peak - and is surely one of the great vocal albums of all time. It takes you on a journey and feeds your soul. Simply awesome. Don't miss them live!
Free July 8, 2007 I'm not going to write a long review but i am going to say that this album is at the top of my christmas wishlist! Libera have made me look a lot deeper into choral music and if every 5-10 year old haerd this...i'm sure a few would want to sing just like them. Tom Cully is an AMAZING soloist! 'Voca Me' and 'Stay with Me' are incredible! 'Stay with me' has got a soft drum beat to it but if you listen to it a few times, you will love it even more than 'Locus Iste'!

Simply Serene August 22, 2005 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
The music of Libera was brought to my attention via Classic FM and was awe inspiring. Despite other critics of music, I found the music to be serene and meaningful. A mix of new age, vocal and choral together with subtle instrumental composition, Libera is well balanced and appealing. I have no hesitation in recommending this music, as being somewhat fresh on the scene and differentiating from the likes of Enya or Clannad. I particularly bought Libera Free and was pleasantly surprised with the composition.

Awsome recording and another winner for Robert Prizeman. Ben Crawley has an awsome treble voice and should be a person to watch in the near future. Right from the opener "I AM THE DAY", the voices of Libera are that of true professionals and if they continue the success of this cd, they may have many more to come.
EXCELLENT October 27, 2004 37 out of 42 found this review helpful
The third album under the banner "Libera" but in fact their real discography dates back to 1984 when as St. Philip's Boys Choir in the South of London, they made two recordings, their first Sal Salo in 1984. In 1990 they changed their name to "Angel voices" and released other CD's. Their stage name changed to "Libera" in 1999. This latest album is simply superb, it has a very distinctive sound and much credit must go to its producers Robert Prizmand and Ian Tilley. This choir really does turn out some very different trebles; of which Liam O'Kane is a perfect example and now on this CD we have Ben Crawley and Joseph Platt among others. A haunting collection of tracks that you never will get tired of listening to. Enjoy!
