 Simply Uplifting October 16, 2008
What a wonderful and uplifting album. I saw only a handful of 'The Tudors' episodes on TV but was captivated by the opening theme-tune. I decided to take a chance and purchase the soundtrack CD because of, partly, the other reviews and also the wonderfully cheap price some Marketplace seller's were advertising.
The score is terrific, with haunting melodies and sweeping flute's - very in keeping with the music featured in 'The Lord of the Rings' series. I personally found myself getting caught up in the music (and drama!) of the rising tunes.
Highly recommend - even if not a fan of the series (as I wasn't) because I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Listened to the score today for the first time. After also watching the first season of The Tudor's back to back and i am glad i did it like that cos i could not have waited a week to watch another episode. Anyway Trevor Morris scores this show perfect capturing the emotion and the period of the tudor's. If you enjoy movie scores in general and like composers such as Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams you will enjoy this score 10/10.

An excellent soundtrack to an awesome tv show. Trevor Morris captures the essence of the show with beautiful tracks. Each track sucks you in and, even if you have not seen the show, all the tracks stand alone and sound beautiful. Buy this album, well worth the money.
