Music for Accelerated Learning Steve Halpern February 1, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I use this CD with a class of five and six year olds and it immediately relaxes and calms them They often ask for the music to be on as they say they can work better. They talk very quietly with their neigbour or not at all,the children are focussed on the task in hand and written work is completed more efficiently and accurately then without the music. TAs are amazed by the result. I would definately recommend this CD to teachers and parents.
This is really good October 19, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have bought this for my son's school and have just bought some more to supply some other local schools as part of my job. The teacher at my son's school was very pleased and said it helped the children. This comes highly recommended - get it!

I've tried this C.D. with three different classes P6/7, P3/4/5 and an infant class, and in each one I've had excellent results. The class settled down quickly and worked quietly. It was great to get feedback from the classroom assistants as they too, were really surprised at how quickly the children took to the music and how much calmer they all seemed. I'll continue to use this C.D both in class and at home and a few colleagues are interested in purchasing copies for themselves after having borrowed mine.
