Memories... August 17, 2010 Debs Certainly not disapointed with this DVD,a great bargain and a nostalgic trip down memory lane, Queen were just amazing!!
Live Aid DVD August 16, 2010 Twisk (Scotland) I bought this for my daughter who was born the year it was first shown in 1985 and she loves it as do I. Excellent.
Historical Fundraising Musical Event July 8, 2010 Bob If you like me watched Live Aid all those years ago , this box set will bring all the memories back . Great performances from both sides of the Atlantic with Queen and David Bowie my favourites . If you enjoyed that special day do yourself a favour and buy this , you wont be dissapointed .
it makes a nice complete pack with Live-8 May 16, 2010 A. Boon (Netherlands) Buying the live aid-1985 DVD makes a nice complete pack with the Live-8 (2005) DVD-set. You just can't have one without the other. Highlights 1985: David Bowie with "Heroes" and Queen with "Radio Gaga"; Hightlights 2005: Pink Floyd (complete set + rehearsals) and the Black Eyed Peas. Interesting to watch how artists from the 1985-edition(Geldof, Sting) have aged in the 2005-edition, while they gained attractiveness.
Oldie but goodie!!!! February 28, 2010 Mr. J. M. B. Adams Picture quality is not that great but just shows how far the technology has come since this was performed. It doesnt take anything away from the event though.Brings back some great memories.Stunning perfornance from the late great Freddie Mercury.
