 Nice, but not enough substance Gwen... April 11, 2008

This DVD faulters everytime the stageshow goes ga-ga with silly on-stage narration from Gwen between songs and the OTT dancing bits from the 'street boyz' she has with her (the Harajuka girls are ok though...). I was hoping for less show and more musically grit and substance from Ms Stefani on tour TBH - I never saw the concerts live so I didn't know how she was approaching the live work. It's a 'girly' show with costume changes and the like, but fortunately not too excess like say Madonna does.
There are some cracking bits too though: Orange County Girl/What You Waiting For/Cool/Luxurious in particular are all great moments.
The stage set is not the most elegant I've seen, so not too much visual wow going on, but the show has been filmed nicely. And the audio is good too. I gave it *** stars, and that seems a bit harsh as it's so nearly a **** star DVD. Nearly, but not quite.

Gwen Stefani performs in front of her home crowd in this DVD of her Harajuku Lovers Live concert filmed in Anaheim, California. The concert encompasses her entire first album, "Love. Angel. Music. Baby" and also features a preview of hits from her most recent album "The Sweet Escape". This DVD is essential for any Gwen Stefani fan and the concert itself is testament to why she is one of the most popular female singers in the world.

Gwen Stefani just an Orange County girl living in an extra ordinary world ...says it all. Gwen singing live from her hometown, California starting off with Harajuku Girls, What You Waiting For? The Real Thing, Crash, Luxurious, Rich Girl, Danger Zone, Long Way To Go, Wind It Up, Orange County Girl, Cool, Serious, Bubble Pop Electric encore Hollaback Girl and many extras, fab costumes changes, full audience participation, equally enjoyable as her wind it up tour which hopefully will be released soon!!! The stunning, talented blonde bombshell at her best
