Running Free January 5, 2008 We love this album. Feel it is better than Big Love. Great variety. And some great artists that get forgotten along the way. There is something for everyone on this album. I love it all.
Mediocre background music November 16, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As the title says, it is great background music, nothing i would put on especially. I love UB40 and some of the tracks on this album are good. Village Ghetto Land takes me back and Running Free is different to listen to, but the cover of Would I lie to you? is awful.
This man is a brummie legend but the album is not!
Fantastic November 1, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great album with 14 fantastic songs. If you like UB40 then definetely buy this album. I think Ali may be better on his own than with UB40. It's great that Ali came out with his own album again and we will also be receiving a new UB40 sometime soon.

all of this album just seems like various ub40 reject tracks which happen to include other "respected" artists featuring on them.
i had high hopes for this album but can only give it one star because of the fantastic version of 'would i lie to you?' otherwise id be looking for a no star option!
If only there was a "no stars" button... October 20, 2007 5 out of 16 found this review helpful
ever since their impresssive debut "Signing Off", back when dinosaurs still walked the earth, UB40 have sunk deeper and deeper into a morass of hideously ill-judged reggae-lite covers that would sound amateur at a karaoke night in Inverkeithing, while remaining bafflingly popular.
This is yet another collection of ritual slaughter of tunes utterly unsuited to Mr Campbell's droning, whiney, flat vocals. No doubt it will be hugely successful this Christmas
