I'm not sure I'd categorise either Eighth Wonder (Patsy Kensit) "I'm Not Scared" or Laura Branigan "Self Control" as Euro Disco (surely that's Silver Convention. Giorgio Moroder etc?) but in their full length versions they are stunning and presented here in superb sound quality. Great compilaton, worth it just for the 2 tracks I have highlighted.
If the compilers of this series should read this: what about the full length version of "Get on the Funk Train" by Munich Machine? Now that really is Euro disco!

Wonderful compilation well recommended.
Not the usual old tracks that many compilations trot out.
Some real jems on here especially Eighth Wonder I'm not scared and machinery by Propaganda.

Disco Discharge - Euro Disco.. its the last of the four DISCO DISCHARGE. i dont think this 2 cd set is as strong as the other 3 disco cds, but it still is a great collection of great tracks. there are 22 euro disco tracks and some do stand out and still sound great today.. CHANGE..ANGELS IN MY POCKET.& CHANGE OF HEART, are stilll great songs, the late great LAURA BRANIGAN..SELF CONTROL.. is still today a stunning dance track, LAURA was a great lady and had a stunning voice. ADVANCE.. TAKE ME TO THE TOP..great stomping dance track. there are lots to have a listen to on this 2 cd set and it all will take some of you back to your younger days of good and sometimes bad music.....lol... give it a go, its well worth the cash and great fun....................enjoy

When I visited London at the start of September, I picked up the first of the Disco Discharge series, Classic Disco. Was impressed with the quality of the selections and the variety. The series offered much more of what I remembered disco to be, and not the Saturday Night Fever variety. Artists like Cerrone, Don Ray, Alec R. Costandinos, Change, Celi Bee and others were what I bought on vinyl at the time, and it's great to be able to find good quality digital transfers. Considering that many of these tracks are more than 20 years old, the sound quality is very good.
Highly recommend any of the 4 titles in the Disco Discharge series. I'll be watching for future releases.

Interesting series as it has quite a lot of tracks that don't really fit to the theme or are htf. Makes great driving music.
Perhaps they'll end up in a box set and you can get them all at once.
