Madness At Their Best May 6, 2010 Mark Shippen (Australia) I couldn't believe hearing this album, it's just brilliant- the best they have done. This is a rare feat for bands that have been around so long. The album generally about London comes from the heart and is so refreshing to hear. You can still recognize the old Madness but it is so much more mature.Definitely buy the deluxe edition with the DVD, and watch the DVD first as I was instructed to do.It's so rich. A great achievement.
Madness The Liberty of Norton Folgate January 29, 2010 I. Uren (Cornwall) This is an absolutly brilliant piece of work by Madness. It comes with a DVD of their live performance at The Hackney Empire which Suggs describes as " Like playing before a guilded block of flats!"
Great value and definatly my best buy for ages.
Madness for grownups January 22, 2010 David Mccomb (Glasgow, Scotland.) This album is a real grower. I liked it initially and I think that it sounds better with every play. The catchy tunes of the Nutty Boys are still there but there is also a sense of maturity about this album. The imagery of the DVD compliments the music perfectly. I had watched the DVD when it was broadcast on TV and enjoyed it then and having watched it several times now and I think that they just got everything just right. Do yourself a favour and buy this product.
Masterpiece January 3, 2010 Edmond Joseph (UK) Admittedly i have not listened to much madness, but after listening to this album i really should listen to more of them, this album is simply brilliant, it's been a long time in the making, and it was worth it, i'd prefer it if more bands did this, wait until they have an excellent album instead of rushing it through with some terrible tracks on.
Just buy this album, you won't regret it at all.
Madness at their best!! January 2, 2010 tbtest (UK) Fantastic new album. Very catchy tunes with a good story behind them. Perfect driving music!!
