5 out of 5 stars Time To Chill   July 27, 2010
Mike Bailey
What a brilliant piece of kit. Every working man or woman should have a copy of this. Brilliantly put together with the voices of Brian Cox, Geoffrey Palmer, Joanna Lumley etc. The poems are very cleverly chosen. When you start to feel the stresses of every day play this on your personnal player and the stresses just drift away. Got me into poetry big style. Excellent!!!!!Words For You

A beautiful background experience, haunting music, haunting poetry
and performed by familiar and favourite artists.

5 out of 5 stars Poetry beautifully read with a lovely backing of classical music   April 13, 2010
D. S. Pitt (Norfolk, UK.)
The music is unobtrusive but adds a very special quality to the readings. I have bought 8 CD's of "Words for You" and they have been greatly appreciated by some of those to whom they were sent - mainly ladies who have recently been widowed - they have found them to be very soothing. I will certainly be interested should there be more of this type of recording.

I was given this CD as a present for christmas and it is so good I have bought another 4 copies to give to friends, I can thoroughly recommend it to all poetry lovers and music lovers alike.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT POETRY   March 29, 2010
Rosema (England UK)
I loved this CD especially because of the poetry picked out blended with the voices of the actors. I wish there were more humorous ones on it, some were a bit dour, but I enjoyed listening to the spoken word. It was a real treat, hope they issue another one in this series as its a charity based production which is an added bonus.
