Miles In Fine Form November 24, 2001 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
This album recorded in 1964 was a charity event that Miles agreed to perform in. Not only was this an act of charity but a gift to all jazz lovers. This Quartet was one of his finest (George Coleman replaces Wayne Shorter on this occation, but this does not distract at all.) This album consists of 2 sets on different days, each has it's own highlights, in set one Herbie Hancock is incredible on piano on "All Blues". While on set two "Seven steps To Heaven" is a show stopper. If you like your jazz live and vibrant (the audiance plays a great part here too). This album is a must for your collection.
