Memories are made of this, the sixties and parties, smoked filled rooms and intelligent conversation, all these are invoked with Shearing Satin and Burnished Brass two great albums in one compact disc. Recording quality is flawless and I mean flawless, production impeccable and arrangements to just reach out and grab you. All this and more is on offer with these albums I cannot tell you how great these are. Go out and buy yourself these, treat yourself to just pure magic and experience the great sound of Shearing. Five stars and a 9/10 score let down by the sleeve notes.
