a must-have for confirmed FH fans February 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is not the band at its greatest - that was yet to come. But this is essential listening if you are interested in Fletcher Henderson. The tracks are catchy and fun, and its interesting to hear early Coleman Hawkins, not showing much sign of the greatness to come, as he burbles away, mostly on bass saxaphone. And not too many corny vocals!
