Despite being firmly labelled as a jazz artist, Eberhard Weber output has always had a strong ambiant quality that many would concider more easily catorgorised alongside people such as STEVE REICH AND MICHAEL NYMAN .Chorus is a totally absorbing composition, using repetative themes and stuctures to entrance the listener. As always it is Webers electic double bass that is at the heart of this recording, with reeds , keyboards and drums driving the music forward. Rich, resonant sounds make this a classic audiophile CD. Warm your amp up for a couple of hours first, pour yourself a large whiskey, sit back and enjoy !
