 OK, I guess January 23, 2008
I really did enjoy all of the playing EXCEPT the persistent swishing cymbals and non-rhythmic drums ! OK,that style might work as a contrast to a bit of
rhythm, but all CD, no thanks.
As a drummer, it spoiled everyone else`s playing.
P.S. Love that trumpeter - shades of Stanko, Baker, Rava and even Miles....
which is no bad thing !!

Bought this album unseen from Amazon and am not disappointed. Very beautiful. Metheny meets Wheeler and Stanko. Very laid back with no jagged edges. If you know ECM's house style and like it, you will be delighted with this offering. Heartily recommended.
