Lena Horne's discography is finally beginning to take shape by that I mean that the record company's are beginning to restore and edit the albums in their original format instead of those endless cheap cd collections of best of's constantly with the same titles in no chronological order what so ever and very often of the poorest quality.
This reissue is the absolute opposite 2 complete albums in their original order and format the cover is actually the original artwork ofthe first album "sings your request" the back cover shows a sultry lena in a spanish outfit which is the cover of like latin the second album on this compilation.
Both albums were not great hits for miss horne but truly amazing voice and orchestration the first album was orchestrated by her husband lennie hayton.
