Simply the best Traditional Jazz album I have ever heard April 20, 2002

Having been a Trad Jazz fan and musician for over 30 years, I bought this album after hearing one track, 'Duff Campbell's Revenge'. I was not disappointed. There is not one track that is not quite superb - try keeping your feet still when listening to 'Duff Campbell', 'Coal Black Shine' or, my favourite,'Copenhagen' - impossible! Every member of the band is a really great musician and the live performance is beautifully recorded and, musically, faultless. How refreshing to find a Trad album that is not full of corny, well-known numbers. An absolute 'must' for any Trad lover who doesn't want another album with 'The Saints' on!
