This is a SACD disk but like all Linn records will play on a standard CD player. As a bonus the standard CD version on this SACD disk is HDCD encoded for those that can use it. In spite of a spread of old standards the album seems fresh from start to finish with not a foot put wrong. It never seems contrived, just good singing, backing and quality about every aspect.
I do not normally review albums as so much is personal taste and what comes over well in your own space yet this album has never failed to please either in the car or on a full blown audio system therefore I can only hope you enjoy this album as much as the artists and production team intend.
