Not at her best July 13, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Rebecca Lynn Howard is a writer and singer of great talent, I have to say though this was a bit of a disappointment. Her first album and her second were amazing and shone with the imagination and beauty of her lyrics and her voice. She seemed to be having fun and it made the records stand out. Her voice was amazing and the songs played to it's strengths.
Here, the songs seem a little lacking and they don't seem to fit her vocal abilities as well. It's not a bad record. Just so far not a patch on her first to which featured the great tracks "forgive", "I don't paint myself into corners" and my favourite "Melancholy Blue". Try it, but the first two were far superior. Buy them first!
