Rick's best. The true rock of life November 17, 2008 After his album Sahara Snow I felt a bit let down and wondered if Rick would ever make another good album. I stopped looking for his records, and when his live album and Karma came out, I didn't listened to them. Then, one cold and rainy day, I went to a music shop in London, saw this album, listened to it and I was amazed. This is Rick Springfield's best album ever. Perfect rock. This is the album that should actually be called The Rock Of Life. Great to see you back Mr. Sprinfield. Man, I can't believe you are the same age as my father.
My New Favourite Album! May 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I discovered this album by accident while searching for CD versions to replace my old Rick Springfield LPs, and can honestly say that I didn't realise he was still recording. Furthermore that he was sounding so fantastic! Living In Oz & Tao were great albums, but this eclipses them with something for everyone and is now easily my favorite. Idontwantanythingfromyou, Your Psychopathic Mother & Alien Virus stand out (for me), but only just, a variety of songs and not a weak one among them. This is a slightly harder and angry RS than in other albums and better for it, the softer songs also triumph - Angels Of The Dissapeared to name just one. This album has been played constantly, in my house, car, ipod. As a previous reviewer stated - he is better than ever! If you like RS, you'll kick yourself for not buying this album while you have the chance. Personally, I'm off to look for some more.... RS forever!!

Rick's best album ever May 6, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's been a long time but Rick Springfield is back and sounding better than ever. He has produced a mordern rock classic and has written some of his best and hardest songs yet. From the heavy rock tracks such as Perfect, I don't want anything from you & Jesus saves to the pop sensibilities of Invisible Girl and Beautiful You to the wonderful mellow Angels of the Disappeared & Alien Virus, the album is strong from beginning to end. Do yourself a favour, forget your preconceptions and buy this album. You wont regret it. Spread the word, Rick is back............
