WOW!!!! July 21, 2008
I have had no interest in rock music for the last 10 or so years. Mainly because todays bands are so dreadful. However, being a huge Crue fan, thought I would see what this album had to offer. I have to say I was blown away. It (((ROCKS!!!))) My faith in rock music has been well and truly restored. Sixx AM, I salute you!

I have never been moved to review anything, until now. This album is a work of sheer genius, i'd always thought of Nikki Sixx as a writer of bubblegum rock, though Motley Crue were a good band for their time, NOT ANY MORE! This album is fantastic with amazing lyrics, great vocals and musically diverse. Nikki Sixx's book was brilliantly moving, this album captures perfectly the mood of the diaries. If you don't buy anything else this millenium, BUY THIS!!

this album is amazing. it sits perfectly along side the book and is a testament to nikki sixx's talent as a writer and musician. it shows off perfectly the maturity of a seasoned songwriter by how tight and solid a sound the band creates in each song. life is beutiful really screams to be played at maximum volume. sixx: am should continue and create more music and not just be a one album project. they have the best sound out there right now.

this album is just pure class.
the only sad thing is that the band will probably just fade away because the music industry (in the uk at least) is in such a terrible state at the moment. I hope i'm proved wrong.
this isn't just a motley crue foot note, in fact i dont think its sounds like the crue at all. whats it DOES sound like is kick ass rock music from an amazing song writer. An accoloade i had never really thought of with nikki sixx in mind.
the song "pray for me" is amazing. if it had been done by the seriously overhyped "the kilers", the music press would be going ape. whcih is a shame because sixx a.m really are an amazing band

Nicki Sixx famous as bassist with Motley Crue. This is Rock/Metal but with a cutting edge that some of Crue's material lacked. I liked Crue but some of their lyrics were bland unlike this album where there is true emotion in every track.
Favourite track "Pray for Me" heavier than most with great guitar work.
Buy this album.
