IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY OTHER COMPILATION BUY THIS December 2, 2006 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
As the title of the review says, if you dont have many stranglers albums in your collection buy this now, i have been a fan for 25 years so i know, and have many versions of all the songs on this album. However if you are thinking of buying a gift for christmas , the recipient will love this album , and why not buy the stranglers latest album SUITE XVI, a true return to form to please any fan that has an interest in probably one of the best bands to come out of the uk. BUY NOW
A great introduction for a great band June 14, 2006 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This very best is a great cd and contains many classics hits and is well worth buying.... as long as you don't already own one or have their albums. This cd offers nothing new in terms of songs or bonus material. However this cd has loads of classics from a band that is heavily underrated but hopefully is back on top and in the public eye.
Probably The Best Stranglers Compilation June 9, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
If 'Greatest Hits 1977-1990' concentrated more on the Stranglers Eighties period and 'Peaches: The Very Best Of The Stranglers' was more focused on their Punk Rock phase, then this compilation evens up the score by concentrating fully on both periods without sacrificing any of the hit singles. To see what I mean, you've only got to look at the tracklist. So if you've never bought a Stranglers 'Best Of' before, then this is probably the one to get.
