| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.co.uk Review The duelling guitars of the Young brothers, here still combined with the superlatively demonic tones of original singer Bon Scott, have never been so well showcased as on this live album from their Powerage tour. Masters of the killer riff, AC/DC were at this stage still in full command of the tongue-in-cheek Australian energy that served them so well. With Angus Young's crackling lead guitar fluently tearing up every solo spot he gets with exuberant panache and Bon Scott exuding equal helpings of leering menace and outsider humour, the result is a superlatively potent brew. Above all, their music has a real sense of dynamics, space and pace--essential for any such music to be truly effective. All of this album is essential listening, but in particular don't miss "Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be", "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "Problem Child". --James Swift

The Definitive Live Rock Music Album September 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A truly 'rocking' live album with classic tracks, given the remastered treatment to maximise the experience.
If you, like me, heard this album on release you will appreciate the sound clean-up it has been given and revel in the masterful rhythm, lyrics and guitar/drums work.
The pulsating energy of the performance from AC/DC is unrivalled and makes listening to this live performance a fantastic experience.
I know of no better live album, albeit that a few others do equal it eg Jethro Tull-'Bursting Out'.
Buy this album and experience the true meaning of Rock !
What More Can Be Said? September 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Top Five Live Albums Of Your Life Are:- (in no particular order). The Who - 'Live At Leeds' The MC5 - 'Kick Out The Jams' Motorhead - 'No Sleep 'til Hammersmith' Jimi Hendrix Experience - 'Live At Monterey' AC/DC - 'If You Want Blood, You've Got It'
WARNING!!!! July 7, 2008 This album should come with black and yellow "warning - do not cross" tape around it. Each track in nothing short of brilliant, with bon scott and angus young (and the rest of them) on 100% form - as said endlessly above, there are NO second-rate tracks here. If you want an example of a perfect live album, this is it. But if you "used to be into rock, but are into the more modern stuff now" then be warned... this cd will drag you back whether you want it to or not.
THEE BEST EVER !!!!!!! June 24, 2008 Quite simply , in my opinion and without doubt the Greatest Live Album ever recorded.
Add it to your collection - now.
