If you liked or loved the movie then this soundtrack is a must! true, hits & names you know are thin on the ground, but the spirit of the film is captured magnificently, from the anthemic stadium rock of "don't you (forget about me)" by Simple Minds, to the 80's US pop sound of "waiting" by elizabeth daily, the whole album is highly listenable. Even the instrumental fillers are welcome, taking the listener back to the classic movie moments. Original and hit packed? No, but the film & its songs absolutely go hand in hand.
