Dull and awful!! August 19, 2008
I loved 'American Boy' and was very disappointed to hear this extremely poor offering as a follow up single.
Its like a wet weekend in Cleethorpes - dreary, dull and awful.
Basically she has taken George Michael's hit 'Faith', completely murdered it and used parts of the song to make a very dull and forgetable song of her own that would have been better off used as a B side at best!
Hopefully this song will soon be forgotten about, once Estelle brings out her next offering. Only providing this effort hasn't damaged her career too much, as they say you're only as good as your last song! Lets hope for Estelle's sake thats not true. 'American Boy' and '1980' are both decent tracks, so she is capable of MUCH better. I guess every artist hits a bum note every now and then, so lets hope she picks her game after this.
