Classic September 30, 2007 Bless the Soul of the originator of this DVD.Playing LIVE in front of viewers from all over the world by request is one thing most of todays musicians wont try.
Playing songs on requst and doing it so well takes extraordinary talent and Earth wind and Fire have shown over and over again that they have more than enough of this talent.
Can never get tired of watching this DVD.
The old boys still have the chops! May 10, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Like the previous reviewer, I am a EWF fan of the '80s, so this is a trip down memory lane. They have acquitted themselves very well here, and have successfully introduced EWF to a generation that may not have yet been born during their heyday. I thoroughly enjoyed the energy and professionalism this band displayed. Well done!
Relax, and move back about 20 years in time !! April 15, 2002 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
As an old fan of Earth, Wind & Fire I was excited to see a recent show. A beautiful collection of their most well-known hits. Excellent sound. The presence of Maurice White has been missing among them since years. Very nice work with the cameras. This can never be the same as it was in the 70s and 80s, still worth the money. For those who could not see them earlier but know their hits - it is fundamental to have this footage. The extras on the DVD are not that fantastic (band commentary, etc), but the show is great. I can highly recommend it. I give four stars - and not five - as there is more bla-bla-bla-bla by the host between songs than needed. Anyhow this is an interactive show.
