This is Gregorian Chant at its best.It makes one truly "Lift mine eyes unto the hills",a wonderfully calming and serene cd helping one to just "Be Still and know"

Sublime background noise, or room filling relaxation, alter the volume and alter the moods, all good. Never had this type of CD before, but will in the future. worth your money and time!

I have to say, I didn't buy this for myself (see my reviews. it's not my cup of tea!), I purchased it as a gift for my elderly mother.
She really likes it, and the 5 stars are from her! She occasionally has difficulty sleeping and she's finding this music every bit as relaxing & de-stressing as is being claimed. She plays it at night and it's helping to sedate her.(no mean feat!!)
Trust me, old folks can be hard to please, so the monks must be doing something right!
What I've heard of it, it sounds relaxing & spiritual - I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it - but then again, I didn't at all mind having to listen to it whilst cleaning my mum's kitchen windows for her.
Somehow, I don't think she'll be wanting to borrow my incoming Judas Priest CD....

Beautiful haunting music - I was very pleased when this CD landed unexpectedly this morning (I was expecting to wait much longer as I had grouped items), Amazon must have known I was in need of repose so sent this ahead of the other items (10/10 for Amazon and their psychic ability!)
I now feel more chilled and ready to take on my mobile company's customer services again!! and I expect this CD will be playing most of the day.

My wife (for whom I bought it) says that this CD is very restful and soothing and I have to say that I quite like to hear the singing in the background whilst I slave away at the computer!
