It's not OK its inspiring April 12, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
After discovering Radio Head back in 1999 at their concert in Manchester MEN, for which I was attending as a non fan I was blown away by their talent and but especially Thom's amazing vocals, and i've never experienced a better concert. The last two albums are good and I embraced the change in style but they just didn't challenge my love for the first 3, until now.
This album is genius. Radio Head are still around today because of their creativity and talent, and their willingness to change direction when so many bands/artist seem unable to push the boundaries, but find comfort in sticking to a tried and tested formula. So many albums of other bands merge into one, not Radio Head.
Roll on June when I get to hear this album live and maybe this will be my new milestone.
Favorite track so far Jigsaw, s a tough choice from such a sublime album.
Those who have scored this low April 1, 2008 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
Music is undoubtedly a subjective and personal appreciation. There have always been and always will be, bands that people either love or hate. Even Radiohead will have their detractors but I honestly believe that if you are a true fan of music that continually evolves and progresses, then you must surely admire this band. I think "In Rainbows" is fantastic and it just keeps growing on me. The compositional skills and structuring of the songs for a band of Radiohead's long standing, demonstrate a remarkable level of freshness and inspiration. There are some low scores and absurdly negative comments in the review section and even some high scores where reviewers have indicated great music but suggested it is nothing new compared to the band's previous releases. I do not expect everyone to automatically love Radiohead but let's face it "In Rainbows" is a great achievement and in the years to come will be regarded as a classic.

After a deade plus of following Radiohead the whole concept to this album from the track contents to its initial delivery (download only) is just brilliant. Far from me being a music critic i challange anyone not to enjoy the albums ingenuity with the album hitting you at so many levels. Only Radiohead could pull this off. Even if your just a wee bit interested in Radiohead you will not be disapointed.
Best Album this year! March 29, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Radiohead are back bigger than ever!
It's amazing, sublime. Best album I've heard in a long time. Better than their classic OK Computer, and that's been rated has their best ever!
I hope the 2 Disc version come out for all to hear soon.

Worth waiting for March 27, 2008 12 out of 15 found this review helpful
It takes a long time for Radiohead to release a new album ,but when you listen to them you know why.
This is the best studio album since OK Computer and has 10 tracks. The question is , Is it to the level of OK Computer ?
The answer is yes . The is no Karmapolice in this album but All I need is as good as No surprises ;a magical haunted short song that I first listened in the V festival 2 years ago and sounds even better in the album. The rest of the tracks vary in style but the are all superbly produced.
House of cards , reckoner and Body snatchers are the other 3 great tracks in the album and the could be compared to the second part of Ok Computer.
There is less electric noise that made Kid A and Amnesiac not so palatable and more acoustic sounds.
You can't fault this album and it will not disappoint any Radiohead fans.
