Take me back to 90's again ! May 17, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Don't bother with the reviews with rated below 3 stars. This is a great comeback, it takes me back to 90's from the first track at the the first time i listen to! The real 'James' who we love are back !

I listened to this expecting the worst and it is like someone has rolled back time. This could well be their best album yet.
Love it.
nothing to write home about May 8, 2008 1 out of 8 found this review helpful
Now dont shoot me, but Ive never really listened to James much before. Their singles always seemed a little cloying, but singles often are. However, I saw all the reviews for this little item, so thought I would give it a go. I just dont get it. If you want to listen to REM, then listen to REM, not a pale immitation tribute band. Overall, the playing isn't bad, the vocals are very variable and the lyrics just don't cut it. James obviously have some very committed fans, but this wont be everybodys cup of Assam. Approach with care, or you, too, may be disappointed. Now I'll sit back and wait for all the negative vibes I'm going to get for daring not to like this mediocre offering.

Every track just keeps growing on you and gets into your head. Great topical lyrics.
Home James! April 25, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
It's welcome back to james. He's lost all his hair but has produced an excellent selection of songs. Do yourself a favour and save your ears from all the pop idol/leona lewis/whoever next tosh and invest in Hey Ma. And if you don't like send it back. What's difficult?
