Rocking Blues February 2, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Seasick's album is great raw country blues, which I can recommend - go see Seasick live if you can - it's even better!
Wow! January 25, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have to say this guy blew me away on Jool's Hollands radio show. Missed him on the hootenanny and KT Tunstall was to do duet with him. Did that happen? But I am proud to say that I have bought 2 albums of this guys and we are going to see him in Dublin on 23rd February. Can't wait. He is one amazing musician.

Heard him on Jools Holland Hootenanny and saw him play. I simply loved. it. I will definitely be passing the CD for my friends to listen to...this man needs to be heard. Absolute joy! Radio stations-- take a hint and stick him on the airwaves....
Just where has this guy been? January 7, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
It's all been said in the previous reviews. Just listen once, and feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, and a shiver down your spine, Yep this is the blues.
A true original.
The blues aint dead it just smells funny... November 18, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Seasick Steve seems to have single handedly rescued the blues from the clutches of the purists and fret manglers who have colonised and unwittingly ruined the 20th Century's greatest art form. Blues is about story telling and experience and Steve Wold has converted his past of itinerant work and riding the blinds into a compelling and charismatic version of the delta blues that is all his own.Go to see him live : he is unique and inspiring which is rare these days.
