Bonus CD tracks December 10, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Well, I have nothing to add to the previous reviews... they're all true and this must be one of the greatest albums of recent years.
The Bonus Disc has this track listing, slightly different from the description & also a slightly different order from what it states on the packaging:-
Valerie Cupid Monkey Man to Know Him Is To Love Him Hey Little Rich Girl You're Wondering How Some Unholy war Love Is A Losing Game (original demo)
Loudness wars - a win for sanity December 7, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This deluxe version sounds better on a decent system because it is far less compressed than the standard edition; if only we always had a choice between "hot, mastered for mp3" versions and dynamic versions.
More please.

Amy Winehouse never appeared on my radar, but she now has a place on my favourites list via this album. Quite simply, this is an excellent album - a stew of Soul/old school R&B, jazz, rock and old fashioned pop.
Rehab was the song that prompted me to listen to AW, and it is one of the best here, but there's other tracks as good - in particular, "You Know That I'm No Good" and "Tears Dry On Their Own", which uses the intro form Marvin Gaye's "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". My own personal favourite has become "Love Is A Losing Game" a restrained and aching vocal over a spare orchestral track.
All in all,Amy's vocal performance is never less than impressive, interpreting the equally impressive material perfectly. With this 2 disc special edition, there's the addition of the excellent version of "Valerie", which has been released as a single, plus the reggae infused "Cupid" and others, as well as alternate versions of the albums original tracks, all of which just add to the view that Amy is a major talent. I just hope she can get back to making great music after her well publicised recent problems.
A Stunning Collection Of All Your Favourite AW Tracks November 25, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This CD Has Exceeded, By Far, My Exeptations. I Bought It Whilst Only Having Heard Of Half A Dozen Of Amy Winehouse's Songs; But I Liked Them Very Much So I Decided Buying This Collection Was A Risk Worth Taking. And It Definately Paid Off!
'Back To Black' Has To Be One Of My All Time Favourites By Amy; But The Rest Are Not Very Far Behind! Amy Winehouse Has An Amazing Voice And Takes Jazz To A Whole New Level.
A Perfect Christmas Gift, I Definately Recomend Buying This Collection!
THE version to get!!!!! November 22, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For some reason this version sounds so much better than the standard CD version with much more natural sound that suit the vocals much better.
